about

Born and raised in Henderson to hard working small business owners Sonny & Marsha Mills, Robby has had instilled in him the same Western Kentucky values that are shared throughout families in Henderson and Daviess counties. Those shared values of integrity, hard work, caring for others, and love for their community are what motivates him to service. Robby has served the Henderson community for over 20 years on the Planning Commission (6 years) and the Henderson City Commission (16 years). Having helped advance the City of Henderson forward in several important areas during his tenure on the City Commission, Robby has decided to take his in-depth understanding of Western Kentucky to Frankfort and make our shared values known. He believes the leadership in the Kentucky House of Representatives needs a clean sweep. He will work to reduce wasteful spending, fight for religious freedoms and individual liberties, and get government out-of-the-way so business can flourish.

Family Life

Robby Mills is a lifelong resident of Henderson. Born and raised in the north end of Henderson, he was mentored by his mother and father to understand the value of a dollar. Hard working small business owner parents modeled the Western Kentucky values we all know and love. His parents, Sonny & Marsha Mills, have operated Nu-Look Cleaners since 1970. From the age of 12, Robby began to learn the skills needed to succeed in the service business. Graduating from Henderson County HS in 1985, he attended Henderson Community College in 1986, and graduated with a Business Management degree in 1989 from Oral Roberts University. There he met Vickie Hall, who would become his wife three weeks after they graduated from college together. Robby and Vickie has three adult children; Caleb 24, Chelsea 22, and Noah 20. Robby and Vickie now reside at 2392 Cobblestone Drive, in Henderson.

Business Career

For over 25 years, Robby Mills has partnered with his father to operate and grow Nu-Look Cleaners. Nu-Look Cleaners is a regional dry cleaning service that has operated in Henderson, Morganfield, Madisonville, and Owensboro. At the height of Nu-Look Cleaners growth it employed over 25 people in four different Western Kentucky communities. While his father has retired, Robby continues to manage Nu-Look Cleaners, with the help of its faithful staff. In 2003, Robby started a new service business that assisted homeowners following disasters in their home. He named the new company Nu-Look Restoration. Nu-Look Restoration has changed and grown into the leading restoration contractor in Northwest Kentucky. Robby manages the daily business of Nu-Look Restoration along with longtime friends Carl Watson and Jordan Gelep.
